I’ve been watching these lovely ladies from afar – actually since the Fed Square design markets were first known to me. Last Sunday I met: Cheri Uppal. One of the artists responsible for the lovely necklaces they design. Gorgeous pieces. I hope they travel far.
They also have totes – with bold letters on velvet black – a labour of love I understand.

Third Drawer Down has always rendered me speechless. They made me smile when I saw their pillowcases by Miranda July. Since I bought them, I’ve been having the best dreams and V seems to wake up disturbed….. Eventually, I want a home fill of Third Drawer Down! Whatever propelled florals and ribbons for women in the first place is what I want to know.

Earlier in the year, Melbourne Museum of Printing had an open day – and as a designer / person/ nice person, I should have gone. This is my way of saying, sorry for not going, I’m making it up to you folks now. They had a people making business cards and prints available for sale.

Passing the days listening to “A Love Song – Amanda Blank” – a collabo between Santigold and Amanda Blank produced by Diplo. Missing the family heaps, booking tickets for a trip home in October. On a retail therapy note, I’m looking at buying a super fab digital camera. If you have any suggestions – please keep me posted!
