Today Garry came at 9am and sealed my design to our door. It is a great day.

Gorgeous, gorgeous illustrations by a New Zealander: Kelly Thompson. V and I went late on Saturday night to the Gorker Gallery. She is incredibly talented and I hope she makes it massive – see it if you can – till 19th of July.

Nihonshu was an experience.
I’ve never been here before – usually lured to either further North or South of the CBD.
I ordered my usual Japanese favourite, the fried eggplant. Delish.
The staff were friendly and warm.
We asked if the redbean pancake was vegetarian, and they said “yes”.
It came in the shape of a fish, with scales and all.
Too cute – fishy pancakes.

In other news…..
There is a fantastic cafe about to drop in Camberwell, VIC.
Opposite the train station, there will be 2 lovely boys, tunes and super-fine coffee.
They’re looking at mid-week to launch. I will keep you posted.
