The mark for Apoumamé is intended to leave the doors open. We wanted beauty, richness and a unique sense of “you haven’t seen this before”. We wanted corporate, but distinctive corporate. Trying it on multiple colours and in varying print forms, we worked with a steel gradient, conveying strength – the curves, malleability. The end result is a mark working in a timeless manner and relevant to the progress which will span various industries.
The business cards for Apoumamé were a real treat of serendipity. We started with white and blue and all forces pushed us to black and silver. It was a real treat working on an identity that seemed to evolve and find itself as we worked with it. The fine lines cut through the cards are my pride and joy, the stencil effect leaves the perfect window.
